If you don't use the full 20 hours, you may seal the Heat Pax in a zip lock bag and you will cut off the supply of air and stop the body warmer from heating. This will allow you to use the Body Warmer Heat Pax at a later time. If you do not utilize the zip lock bag method, then each insert is for one-time use only and can be disposed of in your trash.
